My furnace would intermittently take a long time to come on and we were left in a cold house for hours. After the 3rd time this happened we contacted out home warranty company and they in turn contacted the job out to Herring. I called the company the day off our appointment to make sure that they would send a tech that was able to properly diagnose the issue since the furnace might be working again when they arrived. They sent out Jahmeek and let me tell you he knew his stuff. He popped the covers off and immediately read the code that the furnace was throwing. The code was 33 which indicates an issue with the limit switch circuit. From there he quickly disconnected the switch and placed a jumper in it's place confirming that it was bad. He did all this while holding a pretty engaging conversation with me. I was really impressed with his professionalism and easy going nature. He even put in a new filter since mine was so clogged that it was barely recognizable. It goes without saying that some techs are better than others. Lots of times if things are working when they come out they give you the line that there's nothing they can do until the problem happens again. That goes for all industries!!!! He was done in less than an hour and on his way to the next call. You have to appreciate that kind of efficiency.
They are an excellent service provider. Extremely courteous and informative. The technician provides great explanation and detail to services performed. I very highly recommend this company.

Herrings Home Quality Service was assigned by our home repair contracted service CHW for an AC problem. They came out told me I needed new condenser & sent report to CHW. Later that day Herrings turned down the job thru CHW stating he wanted more money which was unknown to me. Because of Covid restrictions it was hard to contact CHW by phone or have anyone come to my home. CHW offered Reimbursement Process which I entered into & Re-hired Herrings, not knowing Andrew Herrings demand for more money. I gave him the info to file for approval with CHW. He never contacted CHW for approval, installed the condenser for $3,500.00. Because he never submitted for approval, I am out any reimbursement from CHW. The police investigated & found that Andrew told police I was desperate & said I'd forgo reimbursement process, which is a lie. I live on very low SSI, My husband just died & had a military burial the day before my A.C. died & his funeral cost $2,600.00. There is no way I would have ever forgone the Reimbursement process. Andrew saw a quick buck at my expense & has been continually lying to me as I tried to get to the truth, acting as if he followed procedures and constantly dumping the problem on CHW. I eventually got the printout of communications between Herrings & CHW. & have all the printouts from CHW including that I entered into the Reimbursement process. Andrew is extremely unethical no matter how good a job he may do. He should not be trusted. Anyone who would stab a widow in the back should be put out of business. Do not hire him/them. There are plenty of ethical businesses for hire. Andrew Herring is a cheat and a liar. Do not hire him. I SAW YOUR REPLY & AM ADDING MORE TRUTH: YOU ANDREW are lying thru your teeth. What kind of business man who was hired with the stipulation to file for reimbursement for his client AND GOT PAID IN FULL UPFRONT WOULD NOT FILE FOR HIS CLIENT TO THE WARRANTY COMPANY? The reason is: HE NEVER INTENDED TO FILE. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NO SKIN OFF HIS BACK SINCE HE GOT PAID IN FULL UPFRONT. HE WOULD HAVE LOST NO MONEY, the warranty company would have reimbursed the client. HE NEVER INTENDED TO FILE BECAUSE HE ALREADY TURNED DOWN THE JOB STATING HE WANTED MORE MONEY, SO HOW COULD HE POSSIBLY FILE WITH THE WARRANTY COMPANY. THEY WOULD HAVE TURNED HIM DOWN FOR THE PRICE HE CHARGED AND Andrew WOULD HAVE BEEN DENIED THE JOB, he saw a way to get his money at my expense. I had no need for AC until the very late spring. My AC died on Friday 6/19/20. I called you on Saturday 6/20. Andrew told me to call back On Monday 6/22. I did. Kimberly took the job. Your tech came on Tuesday 6/23 in the morning. After 5PM that day, after CHW APPROVED THE WORK IN PRINT, you Andrew turned down the job with CHW cause YOU, ANDREW STATED YOU WANTED MORE MONEY.. I have it in print from CHW every communication between you & CHW, along with all other printouts from CHW about THE APPROVAL FOR THE WORK & my entering the Reimbursement process. I printed out the phone calls to you from my phone company. Had I agreed to drop the reimbursement process, there would have been no need for me to call you & CHW who said you had never even been in touch with them since rejecting the job on 6/23/20. You had 5 days to file from 6/25 when I re-hired you till the installation on 6/29. YOU NEVER INTENDED TO FILE CAUSE YOU WOULD HAVE LOST THE JOB BEFORE THE INSTALLATION. That conversation you said you had with me never took place. Printout says CHW would SEND PART (NO EQUIPMENT SHORTAGE) & APPROVED repair. Then you replied, turned down job. you wanted more money. The PROOF IS IN PRINT. You are highly unethical with no proof except the continual lies that pour out of your sick, sad, greedy heart.as you kept continually lying in every phone conversation dumping the problem on CHW. So, please keep lying, it's more proof for the JUDGE & that is now in print for any & all authorities with whom I have already been in contact. & WITH THOSE YET TO COME. I COME IN THE NAME OF THE LORD. YOU COME FROM THE FATHER OF LIES.
